Opera Exposures, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to presenting concerts and recitals featuring seasoned professional musicians and young operatic artists in accessible venues at affordable prices, will present a free Tribute Concert to Italian-born Soprano Licia Albanese on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at 3 PM at The Music Hall at the Snug Harbor Cultural Center, 1000 Richmond Terrace, in Staten Island. Miss Albanese attended Opera Exposures' first recital during Black History Month in February 2004 at the Municipal Building in Manhattan.

Tenor Tau'a Papua and soprano Julia Rolwing will perform some of the arias made famous by Madame Albanese during her distinguished career. The Chris Gillespie Quartet, who appear regularly at the Hotel Carlyle, will also perform. Sean Kelly will be at the piano. Dwight Owsley, an Opera Exposures Board member and a renowned New York bon vivant, will again moderate, offering his unique and entertaining musical insights. The recital is being produced by Edna Greenwich, Founder and President of Opera Exposures. Although it is a FREE Recital, donations to Opera Exposures will be gratefully accepted at the door.
