Ciara Renee of the CW's Legends of Tomorrow and Alan Menken/Stephen Schwartz's The Hunchback of Notre Dame and A.J. Shively of Bright Star will join the cast of MuseMatch VII: Songs for Sophia, an evening that seeks to answer the question, 'What happens when 15 composers go on a blind date with 15 singers?,' will be presented Saturday June 18th, 2016 , at 11:30 PM at 54 Below.  Produced by Bill Coyne and Ariel Dobshinsky, all proceeds will benefit Sophia Maglione, an 8-year old girl who is fighting her second bout of Medulloblastoma.

Both events take place at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). In person registration for industry members will be available on Thursday at 9:30 AM at New World Stages (340 West 50 Street). Musical Theatre Factory (MTF), under the leadership of founding artistic director Shakina Nayfack and managing director Danny Abosch, has announced its 2015 summer season supporting the development of 16 new shows.

Musical Theater Factory will be hosting a party to celebrate the success of its first year. Since its founding in May 2104, the non profit organization has assisted in the development of more than sixty new musicals, with the help of seven hundred volunteers. 

4@15: Four New Fifteen-Minute Musicals, performed in conjunction with University of California, Irvine, will commence performances today, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, for three performances only at the Playroom Theater featuring new works by By Sujin Kim and Daphny Maman, David Christensen and Michael Shapiro, Ryan Korell and Jonathan Keebler, and Minjoung Hwang and Brandon Michael Lowden. Tammy Holder serves as Music Director; Brian Blythe directs.
