The Hope Players' INTO THE WOODS Supports Hope for Change Foundation This Weekend

Local non-profit theater group The Hope Players announces the latest in their signature series of fundraising performances - Stephen Sondheim's and James Lapine's masterpiece Into the Woods. The group is affiliated with The Hope for Change Foundation (HFC) - a Westchester-based non-profit organization that raises money for breast cancer research through theatrical endeavors.

Westchester Broadway Theatre presents A Standing Ovation Studio Production, OLIVER!, with Book, Music & Lyrics by Lionel Bart, direction by John Fanelli, choreographed by Carrie Silvernail, with musical direction by Kurt Kelley. The cast will feature Brandon Singel as Oliver. Brandon of Harrison, NY, also starred as Winthrop in The Music Man here at WBT. Mr. Bumble will be played by John Egan, of Dobbs Ferry, a veteran Broadway performer who has starred in The Producers, The Little Mermaid, Sister Act, Nice Work If You Can Get It, to name a few. John Anthony Lopez will perform as Fagin, Lucy Braid as Nancy, Todd Ritch as The Artful Dodger, Brian Krinsky as Bill Sykes, and Regina Singel as Widow Corney.

Denis Hyland ('Rocky Horror Show,' 'Equus,') plays Jack the super smooth proprietor of the Reefer Den, with Mary Falconer ('The Best Man,' 'Urinetown') playing Mae - the long-suffering hostess of the Den. Nulita Loder ('Urinetown,' 'My Way') plays Sally, the seductive Reefer Slut, and Michael Aaglan ('The Best Man') plays Ralph, a former fraternity man who's become a giggling reefer addict. Kristen Wilson ('Urinetown,' 'Bat Boy') plays the Placard Girl who parades lessons to be learned from the dangers of the leafy menace.
