Kool and the Gang, the iconic, Grammy award winning R&B group is set to headline Only In Queens SummerStage Concert on Saturday, June 16th in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. The concert will take place from 5PM-8PMand is free and open to the public.

On Sunday, January 29, 2017, the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust joins with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene to honor the memory of Nobel Laureate Elie Wiesel, who died on July 2, 2016, by presenting a community reading of his landmark memoir NIGHT, which tells of his experience in German concentration camps with his father during the Holocaust.

More than $500,000 was raised for Point, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQ students of merit.

This year, the theater is celebrating with festivities on that day beginning at 7:00 PM. There will be a benefit bake sale, performances by Kitty Lunn and the dance/percussion troupe COBU and a special presentation by playwright Jean-Claude van Itallie.
