September 8, 2010 - Emmy and Tony Award-winning Hal Holbrook will guest-star in an arc of several episodes on NBC's new conspiracy-thriller series 'The Event' (Mondays, 9-10 p.m. ET) which debuts on September 20.
After its much buzzed about world premiere at Comic-Con, NBC is offering five lucky cities or towns the chance to have an exclusive pre-broadcast screening of the new high-octane conspiracy thriller 'The Event,' if they simply 'Demand It!' The network, who partnered with Eventful Inc. and their 'Demand It!' platform, is providing fans with the opportunity to participate by logging on to http://eventful.com/theevent to demand an early screening of the pilot episode in their area. The top five cities who 'Demand It!' most will win.

The new Fall Schedule features all-drama lineups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all comedies on Thursdays, plus unscripted programming into compatible dramas on Tuesdays and Fridays. The high-quality series include new comedies such as 'Outsourced,' Love Bites,' 'Perfect Couples,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Paul Reiser Show.' The new dramas are 'The Cape,' 'Harry's Law,' 'Outlaw,' 'Undercovers,' 'The Event,' 'Chase' and 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.'
NBC has given series pickups for its 2010-11 season to the dramatic thriller 'The Event,' the comedy 'Outsourced' and the romantic anthology series 'Love Bites.'
The production of WHITE'S LIES, originally scheduled to begin off-Broadway previews March 22nd, will be postponed until April 12th, with an official opening night of May 6th. The production has been delayed due to scheduling conflicts.
Producers Aaron Grant, Jana Robbins & Jeremy Handelman have announced that SCOTT PATTERSON has been cast in the lead role of Joe White in WHITE'S LIES, a new comedy by Ben Andron & directed by Bob Cline, which is scheduled to open on April 12, 2010, at New World Stages. Grant, who produced the staged reading in September, 2009, is thrilled to have the former star of "Gilmore Girls" on board as Joe White. Mr. Patterson joins a cast that already includes Peter Scolari, Christy Carlson Romano & Jimmy Ray Bennett.
