Luna Stage continues the second season of its jazz series, "Music In The Moonlight" with pianist and composer Diane Moser in a tribute to Jaki Byard on Sunday, March 10 @ 7pm. Ms. Moser will be joined by bassist Andy Eulau and drummer Scott Neumann. On Monday, December 14th, Ann Harada resurrected her character 'Christmas Eve' from the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q for a one night only holiday cabaret entitled Christmas Eve With Christmas Eve. The evening took place at The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space @ WNYC (44 Charlton Street at Varick) with all proceeds benefiting Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.
Joe Traina, who currently manages the Cort Theatre on Broadway will team up with nine other musicians to present and evening of music at the Iridium Jazz Club. They will play the venue on December 9th at 8:30 and 10:30 PM. The sets will feature music from Traina's upcoming CD 'Ten by Ten' and arrangements composed by Grammy nominated Pete McGuinness.
