Presented with honesty and openness and a liberal dose of humour, Priscilla Jackman's new play STILL POINT TURNING: THE CATHERINE MCGREGOR STORY shares the intriguing story of the famous Australian transgender woman's life and journey to finding who she truly is. 

Still Point Turning: The Catherine McGregor Story opens at Wharf 1 Theatre this April. During the journey, the ship is taken over by pirates - led by the fearsome Black Stache (who will later be known as Captain Hook in The Adventures of Peter Pan) - a villain determined to claim the trunk and its treasure for his own, making the journey quickly become a thrilling adventure. A historic Edinburgh venue has marked its biggest ever festival season, with a 25 per cent increase in year-on-year ticket sales. With total attendances breaking 75000, thanks to it hosting seven 'theSpaceUK' theatres across three of its venues, The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) broke its previous record of 60000 ticket sales, from 2015.

Joanna Murray-Smith's acclaimed two-hander, Switzerland, comes to MTC with the stunning original cast of Sarah Peirse and Eamon Farren. Under the direction of newly appointed MTC Associate Director Sarah Goodes, this Sydney Theatre Company production opens at Southbank Theatre, the Sumner on Wednesday 21 September.
