Eighteen members, representing Principals, Chorus and Stage Managers, were also elected to serve three, four or five year terms on the National Council, the Union's governing body. The 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards were held last night, March 13, 2010 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The event was hosted by Tony Award winner Alan Cumming. Colman Domingo's 'A Boy and His Soul', produced by the Vineyard Theatre, won the Outstanding New York Theater: Broadway & Off-Broadway award, while 'She Likes Girls' by Chisa Hutchison took home the award in the Outstanding New York Theater: Off-Off-Broadway category. The Broadway musical HAIR received a Special Recognition Award for their support of LGBT equality.
