Arlekin Players Theatre & (zero-G) Virtual Theater Lab will present the US Premiere of THE GAAGA, a new site specific phantasmagoria written and directed by celebrated Ukrainian playwright and director Sasha Denisova. 

The Harvard Square Business Association has announced the US premiere of The Gaaga, a fantastical trial of Putin set in a bomb shelter through this site-specific phantasmagoria written and directed by celebrated Ukrainian playwright and director Sasha Denisova, taking place June 2nd – 18th at the former location of the Beat Brew Hall, 13 Brattle Street, Harvard Square.

Arlekin Players has announced the Boston Premiere of The Orchard, featuring Jessica Hecht and Mikhail Baryshnikov, following rave reviews and sold out performances Off-Broadway in New York. Groundswell Theatricals, in association with Cherry Orchard Festival and ShowOne Productions, presents Arlekin Players | (zero-G) Lab's production of this piece, Golyak's new adaptation of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov as translated by Carol Rocamora. 

Due to a limited number of Covid cases within the company, The Orchard, conceived, adapted, and directed by Ukrainian born theater director Igor Golyak, will begin previews on June 7, instead of the previously scheduled May 31. Opening night remains unchanged, and is still scheduled for June 16 for a limited run through July 3.

The Orchard is a hybrid piece of theater and can be seen in two formats: Live & In-Person at the Baryshnikov Arts Center and The Virtual Experience – Online. The limited engagement of The Orchard begins previews on May 31 with opening night set for June 16 and will run through July 3.

The Cherry Orchard: A New Media Workshop is an experiment in development by Arlekin Players Theatre’s founder and director Igor Golyak, who has been a leading innovator of virtual theater since the start of the pandemic.

A beautiful evening of Shakespeare's words performed by ASP's Resident Acting Company and Youth and music by the incomparable cellist Yo-Yo Ma honored 10 Luminaries, 10 years and raised a remarkable $100,000 for Actors' Shakespeare Project. A sold-out crowd filled Cambridge's Royal Sonesta Grand Ballroom for Bidding for Good auction, reception and sit-down dinner. with rapturous applause and standing ovations throughout the evening on Monday December 2.
