Bill Hanney's award winning Theatre By The Sea (TBTS) presents the beloved musical classic, WEST SIDE STORY. Shakespeare's immortal 'Romeo & Juliet' is transported to 20th century New York City, where two idealistic young lovers, with only their love in common, find themselves caught between warring street gangs and clashing cultures. WEST SIDE STORY runs from Wednesday, June 22 thru Saturday, July 16, 2016.

The Road to Santiago is a new 60-minute solo show by Rory Ledbetter having its World Premier at the Toronto Fringe Festival. Ledbetter and his fiance decide to undergo "premarital counseling" through an 800 kilometer walk across Spain on El Camino de Santiago! Armed with a guidebook, shoes, backpacks, and a lot of issues concerning their relationship, they meet a cast of characters, survive an army of blisters and physical injuries, and find peace in their relationship. Santiago is a high energy solo show that is hilarious and full of heart.

Walking into the Music Hall at Fair Park Tuesday night, I was extremely eager to enjoy Ahrens and Flaherty's lavish, Tony Award-winning score in the tour of RAGTIME. Together with Terrence McNally's dynamic script, RAGTIME is celebrated as perhaps one of the greatest book musicals of the past two decades. Unfortunately, in spite of all of its inherent strengths, technical troubles plagued the tour's opening night performance. I left the theatre completely disappointed.
