Trainspotting The Musical is preparing to hit the road, and new rehearsal photos offer a first look at the company bringing Irvine Welsh's iconic story to the stage. Check out the images below.

Go inside the new show Trainspotting the Musical, in a new video featuring with creator Irvine Welsh. Written by Welsh (adapted from his best-selling debut novel) thge production is directed and developed by Caroline Jay Ranger. 

Irvine Welsh's TRAINSPOTTING THE MUSICAL, direct from its West End world premiere, will embark on a UK tour with a stop at Bradford Live, featuring an all-Scottish cast led by Robbie Scott as Renton.

The album includes production by Ronboy herself, and Samuel Stewart (Lo Moon, Nightmare and the Cat), along with additional production by Sterling Laws (Lo Moon, Kim Gordon, Matt Berninger, Olivia Rodrigo) who affirmed Ronboy's initial ideas and helped propel the project further.

Author Frank Franco announced the release of his new supernatural thriller, The Prophets and the Executioner, Book One The Awakening. Book Two The Prophets and The Executioner 'The Darkness is due out in December 2019.

The 15th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival (www.urbanworld.org), presented by BET Networks, announced today that the world premiere of Diane Paragas' and Nelson George's Brooklyn Boheme (Spike Lee, Chris Rock, Branford Marsalis, Rosie Perez, Saul Williams) will serve as Opening Night selection for the festival, which will take place September 14-18, 2011 in midtown Manhattan at AMC 34th Street.
