Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) turns 25 this year while celebrating another milestone anniversary with North Texas Giving Day, the online giving event for people to generate donations for North Texas nonprofits, which is turning 10. To commemorate the occasion BATC will present Denise Lee Sings Miss Simone a special North Texas Giving Day Giving Event & Concert featuring Denise Lee accompanied by a 4-piece band.

PRIDE FILM FESTIVAL titles announced for January 9 screenings Pride Films and Plays' monthly festival of LGBTQ independent films, which was launched in October, will continue with its fourth monthly festival on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. The theme for this 90 minute program of eight films is 'Issues, Anxieties and Obsessions.

The final eight performers who will take to the stage of the Assembly Roxy Theatre to perform the supporting role of Scribble for the last week of the Edinburgh Fringe have been announced.

The momentum of last year's first Dallas Cabaret Festival will continue with an outstanding line up for the Second Annual Dallas Cabaret Festival, July 27-29, at the Women's Museum at Fair Park (3800 Parry Avenue, Dallas, TX 75226). Opening this year's festival on July 27 at 7:30 p.m. will be the mesmerizing vocalist and former Raelette, Cynthia Scott . Cynthia will be debuting her new cabaret show 'All About Love.'

In Durrenmatt's tragic comedy, billionaire Claire Zachanassian returns to the destitute home town she left in disgrace 45 years ago, bent on exacting retribution on the true love who betrayed her. At first the indignant citizens reject her offer of cash for a corpse. They talk importantly of their town's cultural and humane traditions. But when they start buying new shoes, cognac, cars- and all on credit- there is only one way to meet the bills.

Hot on the heels of their 2015 Sydney Festival hit PUNCTURE, FORM Dance Projects and Sydney Festival present the world-premiere of CHAMPIONS, a genre-defying new Australian dance work, directed by choreographer Martin del Amo.

The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has announced the recipients and finalists of its Artists' Fellowship Program.

With its UK premiere earlier this year at The Drum, Theatre Royal Plymouth's fast-paced, hilarious and (slightly) bonkers Monster Raving Loony brings its party fun and punkish anarchy to Soho Theatre next month.  Opening tonight 17 May, Monster Raving Loony by James Graham will run until 18 June.

As of this spring, Seth Bisen-Hersh has produced, emceed and accompanied over 400 showcases at Don't Tell Mama during the past 9 years.  To celebrate, he has invited 74 showcase alumni to return to the stage in 5 concerts of his songs in what he deems: Seth's 400th Showcase Nonapalooza!  The five concerts will be: Today, May 3rd; Today, May 10th; Friday, May 13th; Monday, May 16th; and Today, May 24th, all at 7PM.   Shows are all at 7PM at Don't Tell Mama, 343 W. 46th St.  There is a $12 cover and 2 drink minimum.  Reservations can be made by calling 212-757-0788 after 4 or going online to donttellmamanyc.com/shows.  The list of performers is below.

Samuel James reprises his role as Screaming Lord Sutch, alongside original cast members including Joseph Alessi, Joanna Brookes, Jack Brown, and composer/musician Tom Attwood and they are joined by Vivienne Acheampong who completes the cast for the London run. Set & Costume Design is by Bob Bailey with lighting design by Chahine Yavroyan, audio visual design by Duncan McLean and sound design by Gregory Clarke.  Guest Director is Cal McCrystal (with a trademark bravura farce contribution).
