The South Ark Stage (Rhoda Herrick, Producing Artistic Director) Off-Broadway revival of the comedy Sophistry by Jonathan Marc Sherman (Things We Want) will give its final performance on Friday evening, May 29th at 8:00 p.m. at the Samuel Beckett Theatre / Theater Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th & 10th Avenues).

Continuing its seventh season, Resonance Ensemble (Eric Parness, Artistic Director; Rachel Reiner, Managing Director) is proud to announce the third production in the 2008-09 season. Reflections: An Evening of Short Plays, will include the world premieres of Their Town by Alvin Eng, What Happened Then by Michael Feingold and Compromise by Ian Strasfogel, with revivals of Catastrophe by Samuel Beckett and Swan Song by Anton Chekhov (with a translation by Marian Fell and adaptation by Eric Parness).

For its sixth season, the NorthEast Shakespeare Ensemble will present Shakespeare's highly popular play, Comedy of Errors, in repertory with Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, at the Lebanon Opera House from June 18 through July 4. Among the world premieres in Ensemble Studio Theatre's upcoming 31st annual Marathon of one-act plays are works by three members of the Ensemble's Playwrights Unit. Opening on May 22, Marathon 2009 will feature world premieres of 10 one act plays and will run through June 27. Playwrights Unit members' works are For the Love of God, Saint Teresa by Christine Farrell, Daughter by Cassandra Medley, and Blood from a Stoner by Jeanne Dorsey.
