Beach Haven's Surflight Theatre, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Steve Steiner, is ending its highly successful 70th anniversary season with the original musical Tis the Season. With book by Surflight favorite Andrew Foote, concept by Gail Anderson, Musical Arrangements by Steve Steiner and Direction and Choreography by Paula Hammons Sloan this toe tapping tuneful musical of joy, belief and traditions is wowing audiences through December 15th. The Royal Shakespeare Company's multi award-winning production of Matilda the Musical now stars Lilian Hardy, Emma Moore and Eva-Marie Saffrey joining Abbie Vena the title role of Matilda. Performances at the Cambridge Theatre are currently on sale until 17 December 2017.

Prince's Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota has announced a broad list of exciting speakers and performers participating in Celebration 2017. Taking place April 20-23 at Prince's historic recording sanctuary outside Minneapolis, the event will honor the life and legacy of the music icon Prince Rogers Nelson.

Ahead of celebrations for its fifth birthday in the West End this autumn and Roald Dahl's centenary on 13 September, the Royal Shakespeare Company's multi award-winning production of Matilda The Musical has announced that Sara Sheen and Abbie Vena will join Zaris-Angel Hator and Clara Read in the title role from 13 September 2016. Tickets for the new booking period, which includes performances at the Cambridge theatre between 30 May and 15 October 2017, will go on sale on the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth, 13 September.

Five years ago, a little girl named Sam Jennings was kidnapped in the wintertime on a cold day and taken from a plaza just a couple of cities away. Authorities ended up finding the girl on the side of the road in the country an hour away from where she was taken but the man that took her was never found. Eight-year-old Mandy Coefield was also reported missing in Sheldon Township. She was last seen walking home from school.
