Liz McCartney & Bob Stillman Headline Judson Theatre Company's SOUVENIR

Broadway stars Liz McCartney and Bob Stillman will headline Judson Theatre Company's  Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins by Stephen Temperley. Souvenir is the first production of  Judson Theatre Company's eighth season, opening Thursday, May 9, 2019 and running through Sunday, May 12 at the Hannah Center Theatre.

"Light Up the Night" at City National Grove of Anaheim Set to Benefit Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation

The Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation has set the date for its 2019 fundraising event, it was announced today by APACF board chair Dr. Howard Knohl. Light Up the Night will take place on Sunday, April 28, at the City National Grove of Anaheim. The curtain will rise at 8pm with a special VIP reception and dinner starting at 5:30pm. The event is being produced for APACF by Ronn Goswick Entertainment and Chris Isaacson Presents.

Ben Rimalower's PATTI ISSUES and BAD WITH MONEY Come to LA

Ben Rimalower will return to Los Angeles with his acclaimed long-running solo plays, PATTI ISSUES (about his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father) and BAD WITH MONEY (about how an addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life). Los Angeles performances will be Casita Del Campo's Cavern Club Celebrity Theater (1920 Hyperion Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90027) on Tuesday, March 26. Platinum selling recording artist and Tony Award nominated actor Sam Harris is set to bring his new show Stripped to Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego on February 21 and Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood on February 22 and 23, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents. Along with his longtime musical director Todd Schroeder, Harris will perform Broadway and pop songs from his stellar 30-year career. No band, no backup singers. Just two musical stars and a piano.

Acclaimed Trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire Features In World Premiere At Princeton University

Jazz at Princeton University presents guest artist and Blue Note Records trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire in the world premiere of Slightly Left of Sorrow's Song, commissioned by Jazz at Princeton University to commemorate the 150th anniversary of W.E.B. DuBois' birth. Akinmusire will perform the 8-movement suite with the school's Small Group I under the leadership of saxophonist and program director Rudresh Mahanthappa.
