Recursion, a new short film starring Tony® Award Nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin, Honeymoon in Vegas) makes its New York debut at the Queens World Film Festival tonight at the Museum of Moving Image. The film which is directed, shot & edited by Tony® & Olivier Award Nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park with George) has been making its rounds through such festivals as the Richmond International Film Festival & the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival. Recursion's debut at the Queens World Film Festival will mark the first time it can publically be seen in New York. The film is written by 'Wicked' alum Stanton Nash & is Produced by Tony® Award Nominee Antonio Marion (Big Fish, Evita). "Recursion has been a tremendous labor of love for myself, Stanton and our Director Sam for quite some time now", says producer Antonio Marion, "it is so tremendously exciting that we get to finally debut it to our friends, colleagues and those that made this film possible in Queens & New York".

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Kinky Boots will welcome new cast members beginning tonight, March 4, 2014. Jeanna de Waal joins the cast as 'Lauren' (replacing Annaleigh Ashford, who leaves to join the cast of Showtime's 'Masters of Sex'), and Cortney Wolfson, who was previously in the ensemble, moves up to the role of 'Nicola' (replacing Lena Hall, who leaves to join the cast of Hedwig and the Angry Inch). Anna Eilinsfeld takes over Wolfson's role in the cast.

The brand new musical fable THE A-Z OF MRS P opened at Southwark Playhouse on 21 February 2014, starring Isy Suttie (Peep Show / Shameless) in her first musical, as the pioneering Mrs P; with Tony Award winner Frances Ruffelle (Les Miserables, Pippin, Piaf) as her emotionally fragile mother; and Michael Matus (Martin Guerre, The Baker's Wife, The Sound Of Music) as Phyllis's beloved and impossible father, the map publisher Alexander (Sandor) Gross. The Daily Mail reports that comedian and actress Isy Suttie (Shameless) is set to star as Phyllis Pearsall in a new musical titled THE A-Z OF MRS P, conceived by Neil Marcus with book by Diane Samuels and music and lyrics by Gwyneth Herbert.

McCarter Theatre Center has announced the appointment of Adam Immerwahr as Associate Artistic Director. Immerwahr, a longtime McCarter staff member with a thriving directorial career, will support McCarter's Artistic Director, Emily Mann, in the planning and execution of the theater's artistic programming. His duties will also include directing for McCarter Theater's main stage, cultivating new works and identifying emerging artists, having primary responsibility for the day-to-day artistic oversight of McCarter's dramatic productions, and coordinating the selection and hiring of freelance artistic personnel.
