The Dee Buchanan Studio of Dance and The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre and Children's Theatre are teaming up to present a free benefit concert, A Magical Musical Adventure, tonight, July 2, 2013, at 7 pm, on the Knight Stage at Middletown High School. Twenty-eight local dancers ranging in age from 4 to 18 will perform together to raise money for TJ Rufty. The concert features many well-loved fairy tale characters and includes a variety of song-and-dance styles. There is no charge for admission. Free-will donations will be accepted at the door. During intermission a basket raffle will be held, which includes donations from many Middletown merchants in an effort to further help TJ.

In recent seasons, some of the most popular and successful productions at Way Off Broadway's Children's Theatre have carried the name "Disney" above the title. It was during the 2011 Season that the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway produced its first Disney show, 101 Dalmatians. That was followed in 2012 by Disney's Winnie the Pooh and 2013's Season-opener, Disney's Aladdin. This time, there will be no waiting for another Disney show to appear at Way off Broadway, the areas only children's lunch theatre, because following the theatre's production of Aladdin will be one of the most beloved tales of all time, Disney's Cinderella. Disney's Cinderella will appear at the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway for an extended run from April 6 - July 28, 2013.
The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2013 Season is the year Broadway and Hollywood meet with all of the productions at the theatre being hits both on the silver screen and New York stage. Following its 2013 Season-opener, Steel Magnolias, Way Off Broadway will produce the regional theatre premiere of the musical comedy 9 to 5 beginning March 22nd.
