As previews begin for Viva Forever, Spice Girls fan sites are abuzz with the news that some of their most famous hits as a group and as solo artists - and best-loved album tracks - are currently featured in the show.
As BroadwayWorld first reported, a reading is currently taking place for SOAP DISH THE MUSICAL, directed by Rob Ashford, with a book by Robert Harling, music by George Stiles and Lyrics by Anthony Drewe. The cast of includes Kristin Chenoweth, John Stamos, Jane Krakowski, Cristin Milioti, Anne L. Nathan, Michael Park, Miriam Shor and Daniel Torres. At this time there has been no formal announcement, or set timetable for the show. The reading is being presented by Laurence Mark, Donald De Line and Broadway Across America.

Helen Hobson will return to the role of Donna Sheridan in the global smash hit musical MAMMA MIA! from tonight, Monday 24 September, less than three weeks after the musical, now in its 14th year in London, has transferred from the Prince of Wales Theatre to its new home in the Novello Theatre.

The new cast includes Gary Milner, real-life wife Sally Ann Triplett, Neil Roberts as Harry Bright, James Gaddas as Bill Austin, Charlotte Wakefield as Sophie Sheridan, Andreas Gyllander as Sky, Abiola Ogunbiyi as Ali, Tasha Taylor Johnson as Lisa, Steven Oliver as Pepper and Liam Doyle as Eddie. At certain performances, the role of 'Donna Sheridan' will be played by Claire Poyzer. Joanna Monro and Kim Ismay will continue as Rosie and Tanya respectively.
