Registration Now Open For Playhouse Theatre Academy's Introduction To Improvisation Class!

Playhouse Theatre Academy is a theatre school created by Playhouse on Park offering recreational classes and pre-professional training for both children & adults. All programs, classes and workshops are held at The 224 EcoSpace which is conveniently located for anyone in Greater Hartford area or beyond at 224 Farmington Avenue, Hartford. Registration for Introduction to Improvisation is now open, with classes beginning on Monday, January 28.

TRUMP IN SPACE A MUSICAL COMEDY Extended Into 2019! 

Trump in Space, winner of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival Encore! Producer's Award, has announced the extension of its run into 2019 on Friday nights at The Second City Hollywood Studio Theatre. The engagement will now continue through April 26. The book and lyrics are by Gillian Bellinger and Landon Kirksey with music by Tony Gonzalez and Sam Johnides. Frank Caeti is the director.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announced today that over 40 spring shows are now on sale, spanning Broadway hits, world-famous artists, international performers, family shows and more. These include: Stage-and-screen star Bernadette Peters, renowned vocalist Sarah Brightman, country superstar Kris Kristofferson, Broadway musical "Come From Away," music legend The Beach Boys, acclaimed taiko drumming group Kodo, comedy show "Whose Live Anyway?" and family productions "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," "Wild Kratts LIVE 2.0," "Me… Jane" and Disney's DCappella.

Whose Live Anyway? is 90 minutes of hilarious, improvised comedy and song created on the spot by cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray through suggestions from the audience. The live show features some of the improv games made famous on the long-running, Emmy-nominated TV show as well as some exciting new ones.

Whose Live Anyway?, Arlo Guthrie, And More Added To Luther Burbank Center For The Arts' Lineup

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced five new shows that will join its diverse 2018-19 season. Tony Bennett, 19-time Grammy Award-winning musician, will perform at LBC Tuesday, December 11, 2018; the popular comedy show Whose Live Anyway returns on Sunday, February 17, 2019; American folk legend Arlo Guthrie performs in Santa Rosa as part of The Alice Restaurant's 50th Anniversary Tour on Thursday, March 28, 2019; Friends! The Musical Parody also returns to LBC on Tuesday, April 30, 2019; and American roots musician Keb' Mo' plays at the Center on Thursday, May 16, 2019.

WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? Stars Announce Australian Tour

Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood and Greg Proops, the popular stars of the Emmy nominated Whose Line Is It Anyway? have teamed up to present an evening of extraordinary improvisational comedy for a national tour which will include a special performance at the Sydney Opera House for AAMI Just For Laughs Sydney.

Whose Live Anyway? will perform on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 8 pm in the UIS Sangamon Auditorium.
