Last night, May 2, Steven Reineke led a roster of artists including Tyne Daly, Tom Wopat, Gregg Edelman, Aaron Lazar, Tony DeSare, Michele Lee, Jamie Barton, Christine Ebersole, Kelli O'Hara, Maurice Hines, Cartier Williams, Randy Redd, Zak Resnick, Matt Dengler and special guest Angela Lansbury in the New York Pops' 28th Birthday Gala concert, Celebrate Hope. The evening celebrated the legacy of late actor and comedian Bob Hope and honored decades of support by Interpublic Group.

Starting September 1, 2010, high schools and colleges across the United States and Canada have been allowed to license THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA for performances in their schools. PHANTOM is licensed for these amateur performances exclusively by R&H Theatricals, an Imagem Company. For more information, visit www.rnh.com. The best of Broadway is being presented free on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 Lite fm Presents Broadway in Bryant Park 2010' - a lunchtime series which began on Thursday, July 8th at 12:30pm on the Bryant Park Stage. Sponsored by Bank of America, and JCPenney 33rd & 6th, and hosted by Lite fm's on-air personalities, the tenth annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances runs through August 12th.

On Thursday, March 4, the Broadway League celebrated the 83rd birthday of Sardis with cast members from The Phantom of the Opera and The Happy Hour Guys at their monthly Broadway Late Night event.BroadwayWorld was on hand for the celebration.
