Jacob's Pillow Dance presents Armitage Gone! Dance in Three Theories, July 14-18, a new contemporary ballet work choreographed by Artistic Director Karole Armitage and inspired by physicist Brian Greene's best-selling book The Elegant Universe.

Women Designing for Theater, Opera, and Dance Take Center Stage in Exhibition at The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts! The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and the League of Professional Theatre Women bring that long-deserved moment to 140 of those stories in Curtain Call: Celebrating a Century of Women Designing for Live Performance . Featuring treasures from the Library's archives, Curtain Call is a multi-media exhibition crackling with creative verve and bursting at the seams with the dazzling works of the little-noted women without whose costume, set, and lighting designs and innovations the show could not have gone on in North America for the past hundred-plus years. Saeko Ichinohe Dance Company will have a 38th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, March 29, 2007 at 7:30 & Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 pm at The Ailey Citigroup Theater (The Joan Weill Center for Dance), 405 West 55th Street at 9th Avenue. The program will include five pieces including two World premieres and a revival of a Ruth St. Denis piece. Saeko Ichinohe dedicates the performances to her mentor, Antony Tudor in his centennial year.
