Profiles in History is proud to announce highlights from their upcoming Animation & Disneyana Auction on May 5th in Los Angeles.

Maryland Ensemble Theatre (MET) with community advocates including the Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership of Frederick County (SHIP) are thrilled to present a revival of the original theatrical production There's No Place Like Home... Life Without The Ruby Slippers. Thanks to audience support and interest, the show returns to tell the truth about the human experience of homelessness and poverty in Frederick, told by those who have experienced it themselves. The show will run for three days in the first weekend of March at MET.

On February 7th, Dorothy, Toto, and all of their friends made a stop in Jackson, Mississippi on their way to the Emerald City. In addition to the young lady wearing the famous blue-checkered dress and ruby slippers on the stage, there were at least a dozen miniature Dorothys scattered throughout the audience in the auditorium of Thalia Mara Hall. The theater was packed with audience members of all ages who had come to experience the nostalgia and magic of the beloved movie musical The Wizard of Oz on stage.

The beauty and wonder of The Wizard of Oz is coming to the Washington Pavilion through special, themed programming and events from January 16-25. Programs include a Broadway touring musical, art displays, family story time, science workshops and art studios that will feature a Wizard of Oz connection.

Australia's Queen of Burlesque, Imogen Kelly, brings the world premiere of her burlesque variety show The Candy Box to Fringe World Perth from 27 January to 4 February 2018. The world's favourite musical has returned to Australia. Andrew Lloyd Webber's London Palladium production of The Wizard of Oz will have its Australian Premiere in Brisbane tonight at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC before travelling to the Capitol Theatre, Sydney from 30 December, the Festival Theatre, Adelaide from 3 April, and the Regent Theatre, Melbourne, from 15 May.

Following their successful first production The Ruby Slippers, Break A Leg Productions in association with Bill Elms return with a brand new psychological thriller BLOOD RUNS DEEP, written by Emma Culshaw and David Paul. Set in the 1990's, the four-character play will star Hollyoaks villain Keith Rice as Jake. The play will perform its first pilot run on The Wirral this autumn.
