England's most storied rivalry takes center stage at Folger Theatre in Friedrich Schiller's classic drama Mary Stuart from January 27- March 8, 2015.

Executive Producer Jerry Gunn today announces full casting for the company's production of Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet. Sally Cookson returns to theatre to direct Sharon D Clarke (Nurse), Matt Costain (Paris/Prince), Chris Bianchi (Friar Lawrence/ Montague), Audrey Brisson (Juliet), Joseph Drake (Romeo), Laura Elphinstone (Mercutio), Felix Hayes (Tybalt) and Javier Marzan (Peter). The production opens on 4 March, with previews from 28 February, and runs until 14 March.

Full casting is announced for the Royal Shakespeare Company's summer productions of The Jew of Malta and Love's Sacrifice, continuing a commitment to celebrate the work of Shakespeare's contemporaries in the RSC's intimate Swan Theatre.

The Heart of Robin Hood comes to Broadway following productions in Winnipeg at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre) and in Toronto -- running tonight, December 23, 2014-March 1, 2015 -- at the Royal Alexandra Theatre.

More Between Heaven and Earth, Salon/Sanctuary's original site-specific music theater piece, directed and with a script by Erica Gould based on the letters of Thomas Jefferson and Maria Cosway, returns to Fraunces Tavern on January 18th. Fraunces Tavern, built in 1719, sets the stage for the production, which features music prepared from the original 18th century manuscripts, researched by Jessica Gould.

Over 5000 on stage seats go on sale today (22 December 2014) for the West End transfer of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge led by Mark Strong as Eddie Carbone. In addition, tickets for an additional preview performance also go on sale today with the run now beginning at the Wyndham's Theatre on 10 February 2015.

The Broadway-bound production of The Heart of Robin Hood is opening soon in Toronto, and BroadwayWorld Toronto Senior Editor Alan Henry had a chance to catch up with some of the stars of the show inside the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre before the cast resumes technical rehearsals in Toronto, tomorrow.

The Geffen Playhouse announces the cast for its West Coast premiere production of Conor McPherson's The Night Alive, helmed by Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director Randall Arney. This production will feature Paul Vincent O'Connor (August: Osage County at the National Theatre, London), Fiona O'Shaughnessy (Utopia), Dan Donohue (The Lion King on Broadway), Denis Arndt (Basic Instinct), and Peter O'Meara (Band of Brothers).

Real-life father and daughter Jeff Perry (Scandal) and Zoe Perry (upcoming feature film Cotton) star with Kevin McKidd (Grey's Anatomy) and Mary Mara (Nash Bridges) when Odyssey Theatre Ensemble presents Anna Christie, opening Jan. 24 at the Odyssey Theatre in West L.A. Former Long Wharf associate artistic director Kim Rubinstein directs Eugene O'Neill's 1922 Pulitzer Prize winner.

Rebecca Targett Productions in association with Raising Silver Theatre presents the world premiere of Rose Lewenstein's new play at the Arcola Theatre. Katie Lewis directs the production, which opens on 5 June, with previews from 3 June, and runs until 27 June 2015.

?The 100th anniversary of one of the most extraordinary Christmas events in history will be celebrated with the world premiere of SOLDIER'S CHRISTMAS, a new play by award-winning playwright Phil Paradis, at Northern Kentucky University, tonight, December 12-21.

Shakespeare Uncovered continues with a second season on PBS, beginning Friday, January 30 at 9 p.m. (check local listings) and continuing the following two successive Fridays.
