Broadway Babies - Meet the Broadway Class of 2015, Spring Edition!

In the coming months, Broadway will welcome a fresh crop of productions- many of which will mark the Broadway debuts for a slew of talented actors. Whether they are fresh faces or established stars, these Broadway babies will soon take their very first bows on some of the grandest stages in the world.

New Pic - Minchin and Warchus With The MATILDA Girls!

Anna-Louise Knight and Lara McDonnell will join Matilda Shapland and Violet Tucker in the title role of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical from 17 March 2015.

Richard Nelson's THE APPLE FAMILY PLAYS to Launch European Tour

The Public Theater announced today that Richard Nelson's award-winning THE APPLE FAMILY PLAYS: SCENES FROM LIFE IN THE COUNTRY will tour Europe for five weeks beginning April 23 at The Find Festival in Berlin. The other tour venues include The May International Festival in Weisbaden, Germany; The Brighton Festival in the United Kingdom; and the Vienna Festival in Austria where the tour will conclude on May 23. The tour is being produced by David Eden, Executive Producer for David Eden Productions, and co-produced and general managed by Tim Smith for Pemberley Productions.

UK Premiere of OUTSIDE MULLINGAR Sets Cast

The Ustinov Studio, Bath has announced the cast for the second production in its spring 2015 season, the UK premiere of John Patrick Shanley's bittersweet romantic comedy OUTSIDE MULLINGAR, directed by Sam Yates, from 16th April - 16th May.

Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 will begin previews on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening day set for Thursday, April 9, 2015. Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2 is based on the best selling novels by Dame Hilary Mantel (Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies) about the deceit, betrayal, and intrigue of the court of Henry VIII, and adapted for the stage by Mike Poulton. This special event invites theatergoers to be part of a unique theatrical experience, similar to the Royal Shakespeare Company's award winning production of The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby. The company just arrived in New York City to begin rehearsals, and kicked off their journey by meeting the press. Check out photo coverage from the festivities below!

The Guthrie Theater today announced that its outgoing Director Joe Dowling, the longest tenured artistic director in Guthrie history, will appear for an In Conversation moderated by New York Post theater columnist Michael Riedel on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. on the Wurtele Thrust Stage.

According to The New York Times, WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES novelist Hilary Mantel revealed at the 92nd Street Y last night, March 8, that she wants to try her hand at playwriting.

RSC to Celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday with Concert, Family Events

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) will celebrate Shakespeare's 451st birthday with a special Birthday Bash musical concert on Sunday 26 April. The day before, Saturday 25 April, as part of Stratford-upon-Avon's annual Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations, the RSC will also offer a range of free activities for the family.

OUR AMERICAN COUSIN to Play Finborough Theatre

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, Our American Cousin is the play that President Abraham Lincoln was watching when he was assassinated at Ford's Theatre, Washington DC, on 14 April 1865 - exactly 150 years ago. The first London production in more than a century opens at the Finborough Theatre for a limited run of nine Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday matinee performances from Sunday, 29 March 2015 (Press Night: Monday, 30 March 2015 at 7.30pm).

THE EMIGRANTS to Play Odyssey Theatre, 3/25-27

Renowned Polish actors Piotr Cyrwus and Szymon Ku?mider from Teatr Polski in Warsaw bring The Emigrants, a dark comedy by S?awomir Mro?ek, to the Odyssey Theatre for three performances on March 25, 26 and 27, presented by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles in association with Modjeska Art and Culture Club and Odyssey Theatre Ensemble.
