Casting has been announced for the Made at Curve production of West Side Story, running in Leicester this Christmas 23 Nov 2019 – 11 Jan 2020.

Matilda the Musical will play at the New Stage Theatre Jan. 28 through Feb. 9, 2020.

Nina Conti is an award-winning comedian who started her career as an actress in the Royal Shakespeare Company before transitioning into Ventriloquism. She returns to Australia for selected shows which will include the Just For Laughs Sydney Comedy Festival.

Colm Feore will utter the first words on the Stratford Festival's newest stage, an echo of the inaugural performance in 1953, when Alec Guinness's opening speech in Richard III anticipated the a?oeglorious summera?? that was to come for Stratford. Feore, an internationally acclaimed stage and screen actor, is just one of a diverse company of accomplished actors who will present a repertory season of 15 productions in four remarkable theatres.

Conn Artists Theatre Company in association with Worthing Theatres and The George Eliot Fellowship present their fresh and uplifting stage version of Silas Marner by George Eliot. They will open their upcoming nationwide tour at Worthing's Connaught Theatre this September, with 7:30pm performances Thursday 26 September to Saturday 28 September 2019 and a matinee Friday 27 September at 2pm.

Vintage Theatre Productions announces 12 shows for the 2020 season. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at Vintage Theatre, 1468 Dayton St. in Aurora. Sometimes being brave means being yourself! This fall Goodspeed Musicals' production of Billy Elliot The Musical will spark with infectious energy. This tour-de-force of dance based on the British movie of the same name, will run September 13 a?' November 24 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Conn. Last night, at their performance in the David Rubenstein Atrium for Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival, the award-winning violinist Tessa Lark and virtuoso composer and bassist Michael Thurber  announced the release of Invention, their debut recording as a duo. Invention is anchored by J.S. Bach's Two-Part Inventions and fuses the pair's classical and American music influences into a wholly original sound.

Bill Kenwright's 'Dazzling' (Sunday Telegraph) production of the international smash hit musical Blood Brothers returns this summer with a three-week season at Cork Opera House from 5 August before embarking on a UK tour. Starring Lyn Paul in the iconic role of Mrs Johnstone for the final time, she will be joined by Joel Benedict as Eddie, Danielle Corlass as Linda, Danny Taylor as Sammy and Chloe Taylor as Mrs Lyons. Alexander Patmore returns as Mickey alongside Robbie Scotcher as the narrator.

Roald Dahl's Matilda, playing now through August 11 at The Muny in Forest Park, is inspireda?'the entire productiona?'by the artwork of St. Louis' own Mary Engelbreit, and is it ever something to see! Producers Lia Vollack, Joey Parnes, Sue Wagner, and John Johnson today announced the cast and creative team for Almost Famous, a world premiere musical with book and lyrics by Academy Award winner Cameron Crowe, based on his iconic film. Almost Famous, which will open the 2019-2020 Season at The Old Globe (Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and Managing Director Timothy J. Shields), is directed by Tony Award® nominee Jeremy Herrin and features original music and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize and two-time Tony Award winner Tom Kitt. Performances will run September 13 a?' October 20, with an official opening night on September 27.
