Performance Network Theatre announces it's production of 'The Drowsy Chaperone' with book by Bob Martin and Don Mckeller and musics and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. The musical comedy, which recently received the Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score, will run November 11 through December 26, 2010. 'The Drowsy Chaperone' is directed by Carla Milarch (Little Shop of Horrors, The Baker's Wife, The Fantasticks) with Musical Direction by R. MacKenzie Lewis (Little Shop of Horrors, The Baker's Wife) and stars Naz Edwards, Scott Crownover, Phil Powers, Andrea Mellos, Mark Hammell, Matt Anderson, Eva Rosenwald, Linda Rabin Hammell, Brian Thibault, Lisa Lauren Smith, Charlie Sutherland, Pete Podolski and Phill Harmer.

Based on the stories of radio humorist Jean Shepherd and adapted from the hilarious 1983 family holiday film, A Christmas Story: The Musical! follows young Ralphie Parker, as he schemes his way towards the holiday gift of his dreams -- a Red Ryder 200 Shot Carbine Action Air Rifle. With its sparkling original score by Broadway's hottest young composer/lyricist team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, its wicked wit, and its heart of pure gold, A Christmas Story: The Musical! is a yuletide delight for the whole family.

Peter Billingsley, the actor who starred as the nine-year-old bespectacled hero "Ralphie" in the 1983 irreverent holiday film classic A Christmas Story, has signed on as a producer of the new musical adaptation of the perennial favorite, currently in previews at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre.

Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. The original Jerome Robbins choreography is reproduced by Tony Award-nominee Joey McKneely (The Boy from Oz, The Life).

Broadway/L.A. and the Producers of the national tour of the current smash hit Broadway production of WEST SIDE STORY are proud to announce that, due to popular demand, the show has extended its Los Angeles engagement by two weeks. Added performances December 21st through January 2nd, 2011 will go on sale to the public on Sunday October 17th at 10am. Murphy Cross and Paul Kreppel will direct the event, which will have musical direction by Ron Abel and serve as a benefit for The Actors Fund.
