New Season at the Palladium Begins

As we welcome in the holidays, so too does the Palladium welcome in its new season. Whether in its acoustically-perfect mainstage Hough Hall or the intimate NYC-styled nightclub Side Door, patrons and newcomers alike can rely on another year of diverse, affordable performances by emerging talent to internationally-renowned artists, in an historic setting, four blocks from downtown St. Petersburg's vibrant waterfront. Here's a sampling of the programming coming to the Palladium this season:

Bickford Benefit Band to Return to the Morris Museum This Month

An evening of hot, stompin' jazz is coming to Bickford Theatre. Join us on Monday, November 21 at 8:00PM for the return of the Bickford Benefit Band. This annual fundraising event supports programming and performances at the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum.

Vocalist Nicki Parrott & Pianist Mark Shane Set for Morris Museum's Jazz Showcase

The Morris Museum continues its popular Jazz Showcase concert series with two performances in August 2015. On Monday, August 17, the Museum will welcome world-renowned double bassist and jazz vocalist Nicki Parrott. In addition, on Monday, August 24, pianist Mark Shane will return to the Bickford Theatre for a night of swinging numbers.

Broadway at the Cabaret - Top 5 Cabaret Picks for September 1-7

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestra's begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven- o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. The Trio will be performing their program, The Smiling Piano: A Tribute To The Artistry Of Jazz Piano Icon George Shearing.

Carnegie Hall Notables Present 9th Annual Notable Occasion Tonight

Tonight April 29, at 7:30 p.m., Nicola and Beatrice Bulgari and the Carnegie Hall Notables-a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s-will host the Ninth Annual Notable Occasion with award-winning jazz pianist Rossano Sportiello and his American Jazz Stars, performing works from the great American songbook in Zankel Hall.

Carnegie Hall Notables Present 9th Annual Notable Occasion, 4/29

On Monday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m., Nicola and Beatrice Bulgari and the Carnegie Hall Notables-a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30s-will host the Ninth Annual Notable Occasion with award-winning jazz pianist Rossano Sportiello and his American Jazz Stars, performing works from the great American songbook in Zankel Hall. After the exclusive concert, the Notables will gather at Redeye Grill for cocktails and dinner stations. The Ninth Annual Notable Occasion is generously underwritten by Nicola and Beatrice Bulgari. The evening will benefit music education in the New York metropolitan area by supporting the many music education programs created by Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute.

Lea Salonga, John Lloyd Young and More Set for the Cafe Carlyle's Spring/Summer Season

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has announced the line-up of performers for the upcoming season at the legendary Cafe Carlyle. Following Debby Boone's engagement from March 19-30th, the Cafe Carlyle will host the John Pizzarelli Quartet with special guest Bucky Pizzarelli, Paul Williams, Steve Tyrell, Lea Salonga, Rossano Sportiello, and John Lloyd Young for back to back engagements into June. Woody Allen & the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will continue with their Monday night spot until June 17th.
