Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) will present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's legendary musical, EVITA. This environmental production, created solely for our unique theatre in-the-round, can be seen only at North Shore Music Theatre beginning tonight, September 26, and play thru Sunday, October 8.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) will soon present Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's legendary musical, EVITA. Now the theatre is under fire for casting a predominantly white company to portray the Argentinian characters- led by Briana Carlson-Goodman as Eva, Constantine Maroulis as Che, John Cudia as Peron and Nick Adams as Magaldi.

The cast of EVITA will be led by Briana Carlson-Goodman as Eva and Constantine Maroulis as Che.

Bill Hanney's award winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) and Northshore 104.9 recently teamed up with and The Musary for a unique musical instrument donation drive throughout the run of Meredith Willson's THE MUSIC MAN at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, MA. The donation drive resulted in 167 musical instruments and accessories being donated with a total value of $18,530.

THE MUSIC MAN follows salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize - this despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef.

The box office is now open for the 2017 musical season at Bill Hanney's award-winning North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT). The five-show season will include THE MUSIC MAN, Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, EVITA and 42nd STREET.

Faye Butler is speaking of the Fulton Theatre and Maine State Music Theatre, of her old friends from their Rockford, Illinois days, Marc Robin and Curt Dale Clark, and of the entire creative team and cast of the new chamber music version of the musical Ghost in which she now stars. The Bruce Joel Rubin-Glen Ballard-Dave Stewart show which opens at Maine State Music Theatre in Brunswick on Thursday, June 9, is a reprise (and New England premiere) of the newly minted chamber adaptation presented at Lancaster's Fulton Theatre on April 21, 2016, after a year-long development process. One can feel the excitement and electricity in Butler's presence and her comments about this play with music which, she believes has given new life to both the original 1990 Jerry Zucker movie starring Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze, and Whoopi Goldberg and the 2011 stage version. 'E. Faye is a force of nature!' MSMT Managing Director Stephanie Dupal proclaimed when she saw her in the premiere.

Press night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 25 at 7:30 pm
