The award-winning Vineyard Theatre will celebrate its 30th anniversary season after its enormously successful 2011-12 season - which included the acclaimed debuts of THE LYONS, OUTSIDE PEOPLE, NOW. HERE. THIS. and the developmental lab of THE LANDING - with new works by Douglas McGrath, Rajiv Joseph and Jenny Schwartz, to be produced during 2012-13, it was announced by Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director, and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director.

Have you ever had a string of bad luck and wondered if perhaps it wasn't just bad luck? On Sunday, June 24, at 1 p.m., Rosemary Feterik will present 'Malocchio: The Truth about 'The Evil Eye.' In an enlightening look at the misconceptions about this Italian folk tradition, Ms. Feterik will discuss beliefs related to the "evil eye" -how it happens, and what can be done to protect against it. Discussion, input and questions are welcome, and a demonstration will be performed.
Stephanie Rothenberg leads the cast of Roman Holiday as Princess Anne-a radiant young woman in Rome on a widely publicized European tour who sneaks away from her royal duties to explore the city. Rothenberg recently made her Broadway debut stepping into the role of Rosemary in the Tony-nominated revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Edward Watts plays Joe Bradley-a handsome, crafty American newspaper reporter who charms the princess. Watts most recently appeared in the long-running production of The Fantasticks in New York City.

The Academy Theatre presents The Game is Afoot: A Sherlock Holmes Puppet Parody. In the show. audiences follow the adventures of Grippon Meyer and his sidekick Dr. Basil Parsley Sage Rosemary Thyme as they fight evil, gravity, and those who would do in the modern Victorian Steampunk England.
The Guthrie Theater previously announced complete casting for the sparkling new musical Roman Holiday. This song-filled delight-based on the iconic 1953 Paramount Pictures film starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck-includes timeless music and lyrics by Cole Porter and a book by Paul Blake. The production plays from tonght, June 9 - August 19 on the McGuire Proscenium Stage and features soul-stirring Porter standards like "Easy to Love," "Just One of Those Things" and "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye." Guthrie Associate Artistic Director John Miller-Stephany (1776, God of Carnage and A Streetcar Named Desire) directs.
