Tickets to Clarence Brown Theatre's Gala Now On Sale

Tickets to the Clarence Brown Theatre 2014 Gala are on sale now. Celebrating the CBT's 40th Anniversary Season and benefiting the Clarence Brown Theatre Artists Fund Endowment, this year's gala will be held on June 8, 2014 at 6:30 pm at The Standard on Jackson Avenue in conjunction with the Tony Awards, Broadway's biggest night.

STAGES St. Louis has announced casting for the 2014 'American Dream' season. The multifaceted lineup includes; They're Playing Our Song, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, and Fiddler On The Roof. This season's exceptional talent celebrates the realization of the American Dream as explored through unique challenges of seeking fame, amassing monetary success, and cherishing family traditions. TLC Greenligts Additional Episodes of MY FIVE WIVES

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S RIOT to Open 5/18 at The Keegan Theatre

The Keegan Theatre closes out its 17th season with the world premiere A Midsummer Night's Riot, reuniting the artistic team of playwright Rosemary Jenkinson, director Abigail Isaac, and Josh Sticklin in another one-man tour de force. This is Keegan's third time producing acclaimed Irish playwright Rosemary Jenkinson's work - previous shows Basra Boy and Cuchullain were met with widespread critical praise, and audiences were delighted and moved by the wicked wit and piercing humanity in the script. The press opening is Sunday, May 18 at 3:00pm.

OUTSIDE MULLINGAR, SMART BLONDE & More Set for City Theatre's 40th Anniversary Season

City Theatre announces the six-play lineup for its 40th anniversary season, including a wistful Broadway comedy; a music-filled portrait of actress Judy Holliday; a poignant exploration of a Harlem community; a wild 'have and have-nots' comedy set in Martha's Vineyard; an irreverent comic-drama about family, art, and inspiration; and an adventure- and song-filled romp through Edinburgh.

Brunch To Debut at New UWS Restaurant

New York City's ever-increasing roster of internationally oriented brunch options will get a big boost on Saturday, April 26, when the Upper West's recently opened Bustan launches its pan-Mediterranean version with one of the city's largest weekend midday meal menus featuring 51 choices, priced $4.95 to $16.50. The new Bustan Brunch, served Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. , will address a wide-ranging appetite gauntlet from Executive Chef Efi Nahon's typically original multi-cultural take on such breakfast classics as French Toast, house made challah, creme Anglaise, pate feuilletee, creme fraiche to intriguing lunch-like dishes , including the Crispy Chicken D.L.T. Sandwich, sweet Dijon mustard, smoked duck, wilted kale, pickled cucumber, charred onion, buffalo bleu and the Ground Lamb Flatbread, tomatoes, Nazareth tahini, pine nuts and sumac pickled onions.

Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Opens DIGITAL HAND at 709 Penn Gallery Today

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces the opening of the visual art exhibition Digital Hand. On view today, April 25-May 25, 2014, at the Trust's 709 Penn Gallery, the exhibition features works created by students participating in a course exploring the sculptural possibilities of digital fabrication taught by Tom Lauerman, assistant professor of art at the Penn State School of Visual Arts (SoVA). The exhibition, which is made possible by The Penn State Center Pittsburgh, opens during the Trust's Gallery Crawl in the Cultural District, April 25, 2014, 6-9 p.m.
