The Carter Center will host a concert to celebrate the 100th birthday, life, and legacy of President Jimmy Carter, the longest-living U.S. president, in Atlanta on August 1, 2024.

Let's take note of some very notable Broadway musicals remembered by some notable Broadway performers in a notable concert series. It was a feast of fond memories to be remembered.

Millennium Stage is a manifestation of the Kennedy Center’s mission and vision to welcome all to celebrate our collective cultural heritage. Millennium Stage will offer free live community performances, streamed live, plus online programs and film screenings, Wednesday–Sunday each week throughout our campus.

Each year, to honor and celebrate the legacy of first lady Betty Ford, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation hosts the America's First Ladies Luncheon Series. This year's presentation, “Inside the White House: Behind the Scenes of the First Lady's Office,” will feature Anita McBride, former chief of staff to first lady Laura Bush; Tina Tchen, former chief of staff to first lady Michelle Obama; and Chef Roland Mesnier, former White House pastry chef. 

Premiere of documentary play about the former First Lady takes us back to those saner days of yesteryear, when a Republican forced from office in ignominy was replaced by a decent man who tried to heal the nation. Betty Ford may have been her husband's greatest asset in the two short years they resided in the White House, but her impact rippled through the country for much longer.

NAT TURNER IN JERUSALEM, the first production of the New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) 2016/17 Season, will host a post-performance discussion entitled "…And Justice for All?" on Sunday, October 2 following the 7pm performance with leaders from the faith-based, legal, political, social justice, and artistic communities.

The Public Theater is presenting First Daughter Suite, a world premiere musical by Michael John LaChiusa. Directed by Kirsten Sanderson, First Daughter Suite began previews on Tuesday, October 6 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, November 15. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, November 22. Ghostlight Records recently recorded the original cast recording ofFirst Daughter Suite to be released later this season.
