Fake Friends has announced that Circle Jerk, a queer comedy about white gay supremacy, has added two live performances on October 24 and 25 at 7:30pm, followed by on-demand rebroadcasts at circlejerk.live through November 7.

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the Roundabout Directors Group providing career assistance to emerging directors. This is an extension of Roundabout's myriad artistic and career mentorship programs, including the Roundabout Directing Fellowship, the Theatrical Workforce Development Program and Space Jam, a support initiative for playwrights.

The Story of P.T. Barnum and Jenny Lind.

Discovering the mysterious a?oePostal Service,a?? he sends messages to the world and awaits a response. This poetic play, created through magical realism, reveals the quiet ways in which we connect. 

Over the past eight weeks, The Circle Series has brought the theatre community together on Monday evenings to explore developing works and celebrate the classics in a new way. Concluding their first slate of staged readings, producers Circle in the Square Theatre School (Paul Libin, President; Susan Frankel, COO), Pigasus Institute, and Rachel Shuey will present three readings of developing works in October that each explore an historical figure in their own way. The readings are held at Broadway's Circle in the Square and are open to the public. Admission is a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, with all proceeds benefiting Circle in the Square Theatre School.
