QUARTET tells the story of Reggie (Courtenay), Wilf (Connolly) and Cissy (Collins) who reside in Beecham House, a home for retired opera singers. Each year they stage a concert to celebrate Verdi's birthday, which also raises funds for the home. Reggie's ex-wife Jean (Smith) arrives at the home and creates tension, playing the diva part but refusing to sing in the concert. QUARTET was written by Sir Ronald Harwood.

Max Stafford-Clark's new production of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls is to transfer to the Trafalgar Studios following its critically acclaimed, sell-out run at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester. Top Girls, produced in the West End by Sonia Friedman Productions, will run at the Trafalgar Studios from 5 August - 15 October 2011 with press night on 16 August 2011. Designs are by Tim Shortall with lighting by Jason Taylor, sound by Ian Dickinson and video design by Finn Ross. Stafford-Clark's Out of Joint/ Chichester Festival Theatre co-production reunites him with producer Sonia Friedman, with whom he co-founded Out of Joint Theatre Company in 1993.
Tony nominated and Academy Award-winning playwright, Sir Ronald Harwood, is the 2011 Yael Levin Writer-in-residence lecturer, and will be a guest of Tel Aviv University's Department of English and American Studies from 20-24 March. Harwood will be holding a large public lecture in Tel Aviv University, on the 24th of March, 5 PM. The lecture will center on his latest play 'Collaboration' which is a powerful dramatization of the artistic and political 'collaboration' between author Stephan Zweig and musician Richard Strauss during the time of the Third Reich.
