Actors Theatre's 2012-13 season brings five plays to Stage West at The Herberger Theater Center beginning with Mike Daisey's controversial The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs (tonight, Sept. 21-Oct. 7) and ending with the critically acclaimed Good People (May 3-19) by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire.

Apple junkie Mike Daisey's controversial first-person retelling of stories from the Foxconn factory in China where most of the world's electronic gadgets are produced, The Agony and The Ecstasy of Steve Jobs, will open Actors Theatre's 2012-13 season, Sept. 21 to Oct. 7, on Stage West of the Herberger Theater Center, 222 E. Monroe.

With the community helping Actors Theatre reach the first of three critical fund-raising deadlines allowing the company to continue operating at least through mid-January, Ron May, founding artistic director of Stray Cat Theatre, will direct 'Hunter Gatherers' on Stage West at the Herberger Theater from Dec. 30 through Jan. 15.

Donors from Arizona and across the nation have come together to help Actors Theatre reach the first of three critical deadlines that will enable the company to continue moving forward through the end of the year.

THE SPARROW, Conceived by Nathan Allen and co-written by Chris Mathews and Jake Minton, will play at the Stray Cat Theatre from September 23 - October 8, 2011. The show will be directed by Ron May.
