Berkshire Theatre Group seeks child actors who are currently in 3rd through 9th grade for Disney's Aladdin JR. The roles are open to members of the Berkshire community. This production will be directed by Travis Daly, with music direction by Erin M. White and choreography by Kathy Jo Grover and will run April 26-29 at The Colonial Theatre in Pittsfield, MA.

Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at CCBC Essex, will perform Disney's The Little Mermaid from July 20 through August 5. All performances will be held at The Robert and Eleanor Romadka College Center, F. Scott Black Theatre, on the Essex campus, 7201 Rossville Boulevard.

Add another award to Lin-Manuel Miranda's list! The composer/lyricist/actor best known for Hamilton has picked up a Billboard Music Award for Moana! The soundtrack to the hit Disney animated film, with music and lyrics by Miranda, won the award for Top Soundtrack.

Following the international expansion of the Awards in 2017, this year's shortlisted 60 films have been selected from the 469 submissions by students at film schools in 35 countries across the world, including Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Egypt, Germany, India, Israel, Kenya, Lebanon, Russia, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Broadway Sacramento announced the 2018 - 19 Broadway On Tour season at the Community Center Theater, sponsored by Wells Fargo, featuring four shows not previously presented in the series and three that are favorites of Broadway Sacramento audiences.
