Playing for an extended run at the Wells Fargo Pavilion July 9 -18, the production features a stellar cast that includes Broadway veteran Gary Beach, who will be playing the lead role of King Arthur.

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will end its 50th Anniversary Season with the longest-running musical in history and the most revived show at the Playhouse -THE FANTASTICKS, presented by the Morse & Betty Johnson Charitable Foundation. This enchanting and funny show begins public previews on May 15 and continues through June 20.

After auditioning performers in New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento, California Musical Theatre Artistic Director Glenn Casale is finalizing the acting company for the seven-show season at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. The company is expected to include Broadway veterans, including Tony Award nominees, television comedians, up-and-coming young actors and plenty of returning Music Circus favorites. Nearly 300 delighted audience members sailed away on a magical, musical journey as some of Broadway's finest performed at the Bickford Theatre in Morristown, NJ, on Saturday, March 27, at 8 p.m. in an enchanted evening celebrating the classic songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein!

'THE 12', an original rock musical written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan, with music, lyrics, and story concept by award winning composer, Neil Berg made its world premiere at Riverspace in Nyack, NY, from March 19 - 21, 2010 before opening the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

First came Hair, then, Jesus Christ Superstar -- which led to Rent and Spring Awakening. Now comes "THE 12", an original rock musical written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, ROBERT SCHENKKAN, with Music, Lyrics, and Story concept by award winning composer, NEIL BERG. The World Premiere preview performances will take place at Riverspace in Nyack, NY, March 19 - 21, 2010 before its World Premiere at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, April 1st (Ft. Lauderdale, FL).

Full casting has been announced for Riverspace's upcoming production of Neil Berg's THE 12. The cast will include Ron Bohmer (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Ragtime) as 'Peter,' Jeremey Kushnier (Rent, Footloose) as 'Thomas,' Lawrence Clayton (Dreamgirls, The Civil War) as 'Matthew,' and Sean Jenness (The Civil War, Doug Flutie Band) as 'Bart.'

The Column Awards, a 501(c)3 nonprofit honoring excellence in theater in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, presented its 11th annual awards last night in Carpenter Hall at the Irving Arts Center. Uptown Players and Plaza Theatre Company tied for most wins with 10 each. In all, 17 theaters companies shared 62 awards, divided between Equity and non-Equity productions.

Steven Reineke (Conductor, New York Pops) will conduct three performances TODAY'S BROADWAY featuring Ron Bohmer (Ragtime, The Woman In White) and Teri Dale Hansen (The Boys From Syracuse, Show Boat) with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra on Friday March 5th, 2010 and Saturday March 6th, 2010.
