Producer Eva Price is proud to announce that the critically acclaimed play Small Mouth Sounds, written by Bess Wohl and directed by Obie Award-winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), will launch a national tour beginning this fall at the Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut.

Artists Repertory Theatre presents the World Premiere of The Talented Ones by Yussef El Guindi, directed by Jane Unger. Preview performances run April 25 through April 28, the play opens April 29 and runs through May 21 on the Morrison Stage. The Talented Ones is Artists Rep's first new play development commission for Table|Room|Stage (T|R|S) as part of the Oregon Community Foundation's "Creative Heights Initiative."

The Signature Theatre world premiere production of The Antipodes, written by Residency Five playwright Annie Baker and directed by Lila Neugebauer, has just been extended by one week for a second time and will now run through May 28, 2017 with a Sunday, April 23 opening in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). 'A Lesson Before Dying' is a bold and moving statement about the link between learning and dignity. A LESSON BEFORE DYING by Romulus Linney is based on the novel by Ernest J. Gaines. I remember reading the book, and I was familiar with the screen adaptation starring Don Cheadle and Mekhi Phifer, but the stage play I didn't know. So, the Encore Theatre's production, directed by Harold J. Haynes, was something I was looking forward to.
