Schirmer, Inc.—an arm of Music Sales Corporation, one of the world's largest music publishers—and its President Robert Thompson were sued today in New York Supreme Court for wrongfully terminating a new mother who objected to the hostile work environment Thompson created by flaunting his sexual relationship with a young intern in the office, in violation of Music Sales' company policy.

With Halloween being two nights ago, I was under the impression that, just like most other shows, RESURRECTION would have a holiday-centric episode. Clearly I was wrong. Despite the lack of All Hallow's Eve and my initial disappointment, this week's RESURRECTION proved to be plenty spooky and satisfying. Finally we're getting some answers, but at the same time due to all of the drama, we're getting more questions too.

The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents Baseball Swing with the All Star Baseball Jazz Band, co-commissioned and co-produced with the Baseball Music Project and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Family offerings at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in the 2014 season are highlighted by the novel symphony The Trumpet of the Swan, May 2 to 4, 2014, adapted by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman from the E.B. White novel, with music by Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown. Baseball Swings: A Musical Event, produced in conjunction with the Baseball Hall of Fame, will run from April 3 to 6, 2014. Baseball Swings celebrates the unique love affair between baseball and music with a 'major league' concert featuring the greatest music about the greatest sport, with 2,000 images and video synchronized to the live performance. Both will be performed in the Bram Goldsmith Theatre.
