The 2017 57th annual Free Kentucky Shakespeare Festival in Central Park kicks off its professional season with a comedy, a history, and a tragedy.  The season begins with Much Ado About Nothing on May 31st, then Richard II on June 15th, followed by Julius Caesar on July 29h. Each production will run for two weeks and then all three productions will rotate in repertory July 11-23. All three productions will be performed in a single night starting at 4:30PM on July 22nd for the fourth annual Bard-A-Thon. 

Victoria Theatre Association along with NETworks Presentations, LLC, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures and Unique Features, bring the Broadway musical ELF to the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center Nov. 22-27, as part of the Projects Unlimited Star Attractions.

Tanada, Philippine Stagers Foundation's (PSF) artistic director and writer/director of the theater company's latest production, 'Bonifacio: Isang Sarswela,' tells entertainment journalist Robert Silverio that 'Bonifacio,' which is a tribute to Philippine hero Andres Bonifacio (1863-1897), is Tanada's darkest play so far.

Students from Lawrence Academy of Music will have a chance to appear alongside Broadway performers in Elf the Musical at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center today, November 13-18. The young performers between the ages of 5 and 12 will include Nora Austin, Pippa Austin, Gavin Burkheimer, Eleanora Dane, Izzy Dane, Roseanna Dane, Nathaniel James, August McLaughlin, Sylvia Polansky, Will Scheffler, Maura Tarnowski and Annika Urness.

Robert Silverman (call him "Bob") just doesn't let up. Currently, he is performing the entire Beethoven piano sonatas at both the Jazz Cellar in Vancouver as part of the "Music on Main" series, as well as Le Petit Trianon Theatre in San Jose, where he will also re-record all of the Beethoven sonatas.

After more than a decade, Robert Silverman, one of Canada's best-known pianists, is performing all 32 of Beethoven's piano sonatas during the 10/11 season, in Vancouver and San Jose, California.
