Robert Silverman Group
Tickets are $10
Robert Silverman, a pianist, trumpeter, and composer, is a fixture in the New York kazz scene. After stints in Europe, and gigs with Albert King, Jimmy Heath, George Russell and others, he formed his own quartet. He's the winner of numerous awards including the 2013 Bronx Council on the Arts Brio Award. His new CD "Song of Thanks" draws on a wide variety of musical influences.

From Memphis, famed guitarist, singer-songwriter Doug Wamble was surrounded for most of his life by a vast musical and cultural landscape. It's all on display in his good old Delta Blues, ballads, gospel favorites and fused originals and delivered in a familiar yet rich and fresh vocal tradition with some blazing guitar solos thrown in for good measure.
