Cape May Stage, as part of their ongoing commitment to quality programming, is pleased to announce an evening with two-time Tony nominee Mary Testa! Part of Cape May Stage's inaugural Second Stage Broadway Series, the incomparable Ms. Testa entertains Cape May audiences for the second straight year.

New York actor, teacher, and producer, Michael Fischetti will be at Cape May Stage on Monday evening, October 19 at 8 p.m. reading a collection of poetry about the human condition in a time of war called We Are All Brothers: Anti-War Poetry Through the Ages. As we debate our nation's involvement in Afghanistan, Mr. Fischetti will repeat his New York triumph with poems from Homer to Owen to our most contemporary voices in the Equity theatre's Second Stage Series. Performing a selection of timeless pieces that Fischetti selected, this performance is sure to challenge certain beliefs, raise questions, and inspire future discussions.

Acclaimed stage and screen actor, Ben Hammer, will pay Cape May Stage Audiences a welcome visit in the award-winning Visiting Mr. Green by popular playwright Jeff Baron. Broadway veteran Hammer will be joined by up-and-comer Peter Sabri with both actors reprising their roles as Mr. Green and Ross, respectively.

Dynamic husband and wife duo Lissa Layng and James Reynolds will inspire Cape May Stage audiences with performances of their popular solo shows on September 5 and 6, respectively, at The Robert Shackleton Playhouse.

Cape May Stage continues to build its artistic momentum as it presents Social Security, starring a strong ensemble of some of the most accomplished actors ever to grace its stage. Real-life couple Lynn & Ronald Cohen's natural chemistry creates comedic fireworks in this smart, fast-paced contemporary play. Written by acclaimed screenwriter, Andrew Bergman, (Blazing Saddles, Soapdish, Fletch, The In-Laws) this comedy set in the pretentious world of the New York City art scene promises laughs from start to finish.

Broadway veteran Mary Testa has just finished her regular gig performing as General Cartwright in Guys & Dolls on Broadway and is slated to perform her latest musical presentation, Sleepless Variations, on July 13 at Cape May Stage.

Cape May Stage, Cape May's Premier professional Equity theatre, opens its 21st season with the fun and endearing regional premiere of Stephen Temperley's Drama Desk award winning play, Souvenir, A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins.
