Cape May Stage Offers a Sign-Interpreted Performance For HAPPY DAYS

Cape May Stage, Cape May's premier professional Equity theatre, with the generous support of PNC Arts Alive, is proud to announce a spectacular evening of live theatre on Saturday, September 11. Theatrical interpreters for the Deaf Celeste Herse and Anne Maselli will interpret the Stage's 8:00 PM. performance of Samuel Beckett's postmodern, award-winning play Happy Days.

On Monday, August 16th, Tony-winner Karen Ziemba lends her considerable talents to the Otto and Phoebe Haas Stage. Part of Cape May Stage's inaugural Second Stage Broadway Series, Ms. Ziemba's one-woman cabaret will run at 8pm at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in downtown Cape May.

Starring Lynn (Sex and the City, Munich) and Ron Cohen, Happy Days will open Thursday, August 26 at 8:00 p.m. at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on Bank and Lafayette Streets.

Michael Fischetti to Host Poetry Reading at Cape May Stage, 10/19

New York actor, teacher, and producer, Michael Fischetti will be at Cape May Stage on Monday evening, October 19 at 8 p.m. reading a collection of poetry about the human condition in a time of war called We Are All Brothers: Anti-War Poetry Through the Ages. As we debate our nation's involvement in Afghanistan, Mr. Fischetti will repeat his New York triumph with poems from Homer to Owen to our most contemporary voices in the Equity theatre's Second Stage Series. Performing a selection of timeless pieces that Fischetti selected, this performance is sure to challenge certain beliefs, raise questions, and inspire future discussions.
