In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, WALKING DEAD showrunner Scott Gimple previewed the highly anticipated midseason finale of the AMC drama series.

Eisner Award-winning artist Rob Guillory will create the eighth in a series of exclusive Wizard World variant covers of Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead #1 comic, provided for free to all full-price attendees at Wizard World Austin Comic Con, November 22-24 at the Austin Convention Center. Guillory will be on hand at Wizard World Austin Comic Con to sign copies of the limited-edition comic, produced in extremely limited quantities and available to fans only while supplies last, and representing the final of eight covers produced in 2013. The group's home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Masteron's role has not been revealed, but the site notes that rumors have arisen that she may take on the role of comic character 'Tara Chalmers.' Masterson's deal includes a recurring role for the fourth season, with an option to be bumped up to a regular in season five.

According to Deadline, the actress, best known for appearing in the TWILIGHT SAGA, has boarded AMC's hit undead series for the fourth season as Rosita Espinosa.

AMC announced today that the network is in the initial stages of developing a companion series to its original drama series The Walking Dead, which premiered on AMC in October of 2010. The Walking Dead is currently the #1 show on television among adults 18-49. Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are on board as executive producers, with AMC Studios set to produce. The companion series has a target on-air date of 2015.

The course is open Sat., Oct.12 from 6:45 pm - Midnight. Survivors climb, crawl and slide in an effort to avoid confrontation by hordes of Walkers, while achieving the ultimate adventure on The Walking Dead-themed obstacle course. The Walking Dead Escape is not a race and Survivors are not timed, but the end is near and they must move swiftly. If they're lucky, Survivors will reach the decontamination zone where their level of infection - if any - will be determined by a confidential military scan. Walkers will be transformed into the undead by professional makeup teams and released on the course to haunt the living.
