Det startede som en bog, siden kom en film, som blev en mega succes og nu er det altsa blevet til en musical, som er en kaempe 90er fest anfort af Innocent blood der for fuld skrue spiller det ene hit efter det andet. Sofie Lassen Kahlke og Robert Hansen er igen trukket i tojet og spiller rollerne som Anja og Victor der igen fristes man til at sige oplever knas i parforholdet. De er begge naesten blevet 40 ar og har brug for en pause fra hinanden. De (er) begge sode i rollerne, men det er lidt, som om tiden er lobet fra dem og det der virkede for dem i filmen holder ikke laengere fra scenen, sa det bliver lidt en tam oplevelse, nar de er pa og det er lidt synd, for de kaemper en brav kamp for at holde tempoet oppe, men som sagt sa virker det ikke. Hvis man skal kigge pa noget, der til gengaeld holder 100 %, sa er det de to unge, som spiller rollerne som den unge udgave af Anja og Victor. Anna Clara Sachs Leschly spiller rollen som Anja med en sodme og en indlevelse, som gor, at man godt kan forsta, at Victor bare ma have fat i hende. Hun formar at skifte mellem at vaere en fjollet teenager det ene ojeblik for sa at skifte til en fornuftig ung kvinde det naeste. Nicolai Jensen formar at charmere alle med sin kejtethed og sin store fantastiske sangstemme, der vaelter hele salen bagover, nar han forst abner munden, det er helt klart de to, der redder forestillingen fra ikke at blive en tynd kop te. The National Coalition Against Censorship has added a new co-signer to its statement (read online) opposing the Metropolitan Opera's cancellation of live, high-definition screenings of John Adams' opera, The Death of Klinghoffer, to 65 countries. The International Committee for Artists' Freedom has joined as a co-signer, adding to the National Opera Association, Article 19, The Dramatists Legal Defense Fund, Free Expression Policy Project, freeDimensional, Freemuse, and PEN American Center. The statement urges the Metropolitan and its director, Peter Gelb, to reconsider and proceed with the scheduled simulcast. The list of organizations joining the statement is expected to continue growing.

The play will be directed by Artistic Director Gene Franklin Smith and stars Shannon Holt and Craig Robert Young. Tickets are $30, and may be purchased through the box office, online at http://www.malibuplayhouse.org or by calling 323-960-7711. There will be previews on April 9th and 10th for $20. Shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
