Last night The York Theatre Company honored the musical theatre writing team of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt in a Fantastick gala concert and award ceremony directed by Richard Jay-Alexander. 54 Below presented '54 BELOW SINGS KANDER AND EBB'S WOMAN OF THE YEAR' on Wednesday, November 29th, 2017. This performance featured an all star cast with nine ladies singing the songs of TESS (Lauren Bacall on Broadway), four men singing for SAM, and all the other roles covered by the rest of the cast. The performers were: Klea Blackhurst, Todd Buonopane, Mary Callahan, Robert Cuccioli, Joyce DeWitt, Natalie Douglas, John Epperson, Anita Gillette, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Dee Hoty, Christine Toy Johnson, Luba Mason, Julia Murney, Brad Oscar, Christine Pedi, Eve Plumb, Robbie Rozelle, and Kevin Zak. The musical director was Joshua Zecher-Ross, with Corey Schuyler on the bass, Chris Schultz on the drums and Dan Glaude on the reed.

ANGELS, the original studio cast recording released from Broadway Records, celebrated the Australian album launch with an exclusive event yesterday at the Northern Beaches Christian School in their performance space, Manhattan City. The packed event was opened by Hon. Anthony Roberts MP, Minister of Planning & Housing and Special Minister of State, and featured live performances from ANGELS by the album creators with top Australian musicians and worship leaders from C3 Church Global.

The stars came out for Nassau BOCES Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA) at the school's third Broadway Supports LIHSA fundraising event. The gala production featured Broadway stars who donated their time for a spectacular one-night only event to help raise money toward and awareness of LIHSA. The much-anticipated annual fundraiser for Long Island's only public high school for the visual and performing arts (LIHSA) has become a premier event for the greater theater community.
