The hit West End production of Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by Sam Mendes, announced today that it has extended its booking period by six months until 1 November 2014. The show had previously been booking until 31 May 2014. The production, which has so far been seen by almost 300,000 people since it began previews in May 2013, is extending its run due to popular demand, releasing almost 400,000 extra tickets.

Daniel Sloss, Scotland's half-man-half-Xbox, hormone-ridden, comic prodigy, is currently one of the fastest rising stars of UK comedy. He started doing stand-up at the young age of 16. The Queen's Birthday Honors were published today, June 15, 'in recognition of the achievements and service of extraordinary people right across the United Kingdom.' Among the honors is a knighthood for Ambassador Theatre Group's owner and producer Howard Panter, who heads ATG's group of 39 theaters, including the recent addition of Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre, which houses SPIDER-MAN.

A Chorus of Disapproval is set to have recouped by the end of its scheduled run.
