The Aurora Fox Little Foxes Children's Theatre presents Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (adapted by Richard R. George based on the book by Roald Dahl).

Alex Gaumond will join the company in the role of Miss Trunchbull and Kay Murphy will play Mrs Wormwood from 3 September 2013. Haley Flaherty will continue in the role of Miss Honey until 7 September 2014. Further casting will be announced soon.

Rob Howell has won the 2013 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for MATILDA THE MUSICAL.

The MainStreet Theatre Company is delighted to announce its 2013/2014 season - the 8th for Rancho Cucamonga's resident company for children and families. Culture Project will rename their mainstage theatre, currently known as 45 Bleecker Street, the Lynn Redgrave Theatre this June. The announcement was made onstage by Mr. Buchman during the opening night curtain call for Culture Project's current production of Shaheed: The Dream and Death of Benazir Bhutto. A naming ceremony and commemorative gala in honor of the late Ms. Redgrave will take place today, June 3, 2013 at Stage 48 (605 West 48th Street, New York City). Honorary Chairs for the evening are Vanessa Redgrave, Liam Neeson, and Ms. Redgrave's three children Annabel Clark, Ben Clark, and Pema Clark.

MATILDA THE MUSICAL was featured on ESPN this week when the Broadway hit collaborated with the Scripps National Spelling Bee to celebrate the power of words, learning and education. The 86th Annual Bee opened with a segment shot on stage at the Shubert Theatre featuring a monologue penned by the show's Tony Award nominated book writer Dennis Kelly and performed by Tony Award nominated Bertie Carvel as the terrifying Miss Trunchbull. MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be featured on "CBS This Morning" this Monday, June 3, when the show's Tony Award nominated composer and lyricist Tim Minchin and the four girls who share the title role join correspondent Mo Rocca for an interview and performance. The four "Matildas" (Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Bailey Ryon and Milly Shapiro) will each receive a Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theater.

South Coast Repertory's 50th season blends five world premieres with classics and modern masterpieces. The slate includes Arthur Miller's American classic Death of a Salesman, the musical The Light in the Piazza and the world premiere of Rest by Samuel D. Hunter.
