Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks host The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) 27th Annual Simply Shakespeare benefit Monday, September 18, 2017 at 8:00pm at the Freud Playhouse, on the UCLA Campus. 

Rita Wilson is bringing her vocal and songwriting talents to the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen Playhouse this September for the third time. This limited engagement Spotlight Entertainment Series performance features Wilson and guest songwriters performing and telling the stories behind their songs in a cabaret setting. Guests songwriters include Jeff Barry, Kristian Bush, Desmond Child and Billy Steinberg, among others.

Singer-songwriter, actress and producer Rita Wilson makes her return to Cafe Carlyle, October 10-21.

Directed by Waites and musically directed by Steffani Bennett, the show will play a limited engagement at Teatro Latea (107 Suffolk St., NYC). Tony nominated Broadway actress and entrepreneur Brenda Braxton will celebrate the release of her first self-published title, The Little Black Book of Back Stage Etiquette, with a book signing at the Metropolitan Room (34 W. 22nd Street, NYC) on June 6th, 2017 from 2pm-5 pm.

Acting/writing duo Jacquelyn Zook and Artie O'Daly are set to release How to Get Featured on Deadline, a six-episode sketch series based on their popular internet short of the same name. The series satirizes the manufacturing of a star, as a fame-hungry actress convinces a Deadline editor to write articles about her self-made rise to fame. New episodes are produced by Cap Gun TV (Teachers) and directed by Alex Fendrich (Second City, Bobby & Iza - NBC Playground).
