The 39th Annual Theatre Hall of Fame ceremony will take place January 25th at the Gershwin Theatre in the North Rotunda. The list of inductees include Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lynn Redgrave, John McMartin, Stephen Schwartz, Jim Dale and more. The evening will be hosted by Pia Lindstrom.

The list of presenters at the 2009 Theatre Hall of Fame ceremony includes such notables as directors Frank Dunlop, Joseph Hardy, and Michael Montel; actor Everett Quinton; playwright John Guare, and producers Paul Libin, David Stone, Marc Platt and Nick Scandalios.

Court Theatre continues its 55th season with Charles Ludlam's The Mystery of Irma Vep directed by Sean Graney. The production will run November 12 - December 13, 2009 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue. The press opening is Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Marlon Sherman will be playing the title role of Max.

After selling out every single performance at this year's New York International Fringe Festival and winning the 2009 FringeNYC Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Play, DEVIL BOYS FROM BEYOND begins its run at the 4th annual FringeNYC Encores Series September 15th on a raft of rave review, and has sold out its first performance.

In the glory days of the movie musical, folks joked that MGM stood for 'Makes Great Musicals' and it boasted more stars than in the heavens.

The Old Globe Executive Producer Lou Spisto has announced the cast and creative team of Charles Ludlam's gothic spoof, The Mystery of Irma Vep. Jeffrey Bender and John Cariani are a 'cast of thousands,' taking on the roles of Lady Enid, Lord Edgar, Nicodemus Underwood - and a mummy - among many others. Directed by Henry Wishcamper.
