The Loveland Music Guild is proud to present Rick Lewis' lighthearted musical The Taffetas, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, August 11-13, 2009 at 7:30pm at the Rialto Theater in Loveland (228 East 4th Street, Loveland, CO).

Portland Center Stage presents Grey Gardens: The Musical, the Broadway smash hit inspired by the cult documentary classic that redefined our notions of eccentricity, American royalty and glamour in decline.

Gallery Theatre (210 NE Ford St, McMinnville, OR.) will be holding auditions for Rick Lewis' Taffeta Memories on Monday, May 18th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm (call backs will be on Tuesday, if needed). The show is directed by Faye Pitman Trupka.

Portland Center Stage presents Grey Gardens: The Musical, the Broadway smash hit inspired by the cult documentary classic that redefined our notions of eccentricity, American royalty and glamour in decline. Grey Gardens: The Musical previews on Tuesday May 26th, opens on Friday, May 29th and runs through June 21st, 2009. Tickets range from $33.50 to $68.50, with student and under 30 discounts available. Rush tickets for Grey Gardens are $15 and available starting 10 minutes prior to curtain. Show times are 7:30 pm Tuesday through Saturday, with a 2:00 pm Sunday matinee and alternating Saturday 2:00 pm and Sunday 7:30 pm performances. The Hudson Players have limited performances left of the crowd pleasing, national premier of the back-to-back, fun 50's musical journey - An Evening With the Taffetas and Cardigans. Created by Rick Lewis and sponsored by the Laurel Lake Foundation, the show features the 'reunion' of two fictional 50's era harmony groups presented with stylized humor and a whiz bang good time. Early audiences have responded with standing ovations and a toe tapping good time.

After 23 years of guiding Totem Pole Playhouse into national prominence as a premiere professional summer theatre, Carl Schurr and Wil Love are stepping down at the end of the 2008 season. As Producing Artistic Director and Associate Artistic Director, respectively, this theatrical duo has produced, directed and acted in well over one hundred productions since assuming their current positions in 1985. Ray Ficca, long time friend of Schurr and Love and a resident company member at the Playhouse will become the artistic director in September of this year.
